New, larger prototype facility triples manufacturing space to keep up with growing demand for prototype sheet metal parts.
Nashua, NH (PRWEB) January 18, 2007 -- Rapid Sheet Metal, the country's first Rapid Prototype Sheet Metal parts fabricator, has started off the new year right in a new 25,540 square foot manufacturing facility, tripling their sheet metal fabrication capacity.
The larger facility is a result of the demand for the company's quick turn prototype sheet metal services. "Our mission is deliver sheet metal prototypes as fast as SLA models. Our new facility is triple the size of our previous facility and permits us to add the necessary personnel and equipment to continually drive down quick turn prototype sheet metal lead-times," says Jay Jacobs, President of Rapid Sheet Metal Inc
Rapid Sheet Metal plans to expand its workforce from 30 to 50 over the next twelve months to keep up with continued strong demand for sheet metal prototyes and run two shifts 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. The new fabrication facility will also enable Rapid Sheet Metal to bring powder coating in-house in the first half of the year.
