Groupe Lagassé Announces the Acquisition of SMIS R&D
Expands Groupe Lagassé's hardware and software design expertise in the medical and telecommunications markets.
Sherbrooke, Quebec (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Groupe Lagassé, an international company with manufacturing, products and services divisions delivering leading edge communications solutions for the private and public sectors, has signed an agreement to purchase SMIS R&D from the University of Sherbrooke.
With this acquisition, Groupe Lagassé will be expanding its capabilities through SMIS R&D's design expertise in the microprocessor base products to address the needs of its current international clients, such as EADS, Siemens and Ericsson, as well as new customers in the medical and telecom markets.
